Ever worry that your art might invade someone's peace? I used to avoid street photography for exactly that reason, thinking it was too intrusive. But then I caught a moment of pure joy between a grandfather and his granddaughter, and it hit me. That image CONNECTED people in ways I never expected, making the occasional awkward encounter worth it. The raw truth in those frames is what gives photography its real power.

That's a powerful insight! How do you balance respecting privacy with capturing those truthful moments?

Hold on, Simon, that "raw truth" is still filtered through your lens and intent. Frankly @willow256, I've never seen a stranger's peace improved by becoming an unpaid subject.
