Watching how fan theories changed the finale of my favorite mystery series

I just finished this old show my friend told me to watch. The last episode felt so different from the start. Like they heard all the guesses online and tried to fit them in. It made the whole thing feel cheap and not real. Kinda wish they stuck to their own plan instead.

You know what, @the_nina is right about the vibe changing. It's like they see the fan stuff and just staple it on. Reminds me of this pizza place near me. They had this great, simple pepperoni. Then they started reading all the online reviews, added pineapple, then stuffed crust, then some weird dessert pizza. Tasted fine I guess, but it lost the thing that made it special. Went back to basics a year later but the magic was gone. Just stick to the recipe that worked.

Yeah but the weird part is how they flipped which character was driving the plot... makes the whole vibe totally different even if the beats look the same on paper.
