Honestly, I'm the opposite with plants. If it doesn't show signs of life in two weeks, I've already given up and bought a new one. My peace lily is the only survivor because it thrives on my terrible gardener neglect.

Try neglecting a snake plant too, they practically thrive on being forgotten lol.
