Thinking back on my van's wiring mess from years ago

I tried to save time by skipping proper fuses in my first electrical system. One short circuit later, I had to redo the whole thing from scratch. Now I never start a build without a detailed plan and the right safety gear. It's wild how much better my vans run after learning that lesson the hard way. Those early days were a mix of excitement and facepalms for sure!

Yep, @the_jamie gets it. Always fuse every circuit, no exceptions.

Used to think fuses were just extra work for no reason... until I saw my own wire insulation melting. Had to rip out a whole section of my flooring to fix what a fifty cent fuse would have stopped. Totally changed how I see every connection now.
