I chose to use an AI image for my band's album cover instead of hiring an artist
The choice was between paying a local illustrator around $800 or generating something myself with Midjourney for $30 a month. I spent about a week making different versions, tweaking prompts like 'psychedelic desert landscape with melting guitars.' The final image fit our sound perfectly and we got it done in days, not weeks. Has anyone else used AI art for a real project and faced backlash from friends who are traditional artists?
