My routing algorithm started favoring one neighborhood after 6 months

I run a small delivery route in Austin and noticed the AI dispatch kept sending me to the same 3 blocks near Riverside, about 80% of my stops last Tuesday. It turns out the system was weighting historical driver speed data from one guy who skips traffic lights, and that made everyone else look slower. Has anyone else caught their optimization tool quietly overfitting to a single outlier's behavior?

Wait, did your system literally let ONE driver's shortcuts rewrite the whole dispatch logic? That's wild. I caught mine doing something similar with a night shift guy who knew every back alley in the warehouse district. The AI started treating his 2am empty-road times as the baseline for 5pm rush hour, so everyone else got flagged as "delayed" and the system kept stacking more stops on the only routes that looked fast, which were his. Took me three weeks of staring at the dashboard to realize the "speed score" was basically just this one dude's ghost.
