Wasted $90 on an AI resume coach, the advice was pure garbage
Signed up for one of those AI resume services last week after seeing ads everywhere. Paid $90 for the 'premium' package. It rewrote my entire resume into buzzword soup. It told me to list 'synergized cross-functional initiatives' when I'm a warehouse supervisor. I showed it to a friend who hires people, she said she'd toss it in the trash instantly. I redid the whole thing myself in about an hour using a free template. Anyone else tried these AI career tools and come away worse off?
