Overheard a guy at the hardware store say AI wrote his homeowner's insurance appeal
I was grabbing some anchor bolts last Tuesday and this guy near the checkout was on the phone, telling someone he just pasted his insurance denial letter into ChatGPT and it wrote back a full appeal for him. He said the adjuster called him back within 48 hours and approved the roof claim he'd been fighting for 6 months. Made me think about how AI is starting to handle paperwork that normally takes a lawyer or a lot of arguing. Has anyone else used an LLM to write something official like that and actually got results?

68 hours is pretty fast for an adjuster to approve anything, I've waited weeks for way less.

My buddy Dave used it to write a rent dispute letter and the landlord backed down immediately.

Is a rent dispute really that serious though? I bet the landlord would have backed down anyway if Dave just showed up in person.
