I tried to make a simple number guessing game in Python and it broke in a weird way

Oh man, I feel this one deep in my soul. The single equals sign is like the gremlin of Python, hiding in plain sight just to mess with you. I remember a time I spent like three hours debugging a loop that would never stop, and it turned out I had a 'while True:' that I forgot to break out of because of a similar typo. @zara572 is totally right about that afternoon of despair over a missing comma, honestly code editors should have a "make fun of you" feature for these moments. It's like the computer is gaslighting you into thinking you don't know how to program, when really it's just a forgotten double equals sign pulling a prank. At least now you'll never make that mistake again, or you'll make it again but catch it faster, which is basically the same thing.

Paid $800 to fix a burnt valve on my 2005 civic

Ngl, that Camry's got more stories than most cars on the lot.

Switched from Bondo to a different filler on a Ford F-150 repair

Hold on, hold on. Gotta push back a little here. Sanding is one of those things where rushing makes everything worse, so maybe having too many shortcuts is actually a bad thing. You end up with a surface that looks okay until you put a finish on it, then every scratch shows up like a neon sign. Real talk, learning to do it by hand with a block and some good paper teaches you way more about the wood grain than any fancy tool ever will. You'll get better results in the long run if you just slow down instead of looking for a magic fix.

Changed my mind about AI art after a guy at a truck stop showed me his workflow

Feels like cheating" is putting it mildly. I saw a guy at a truck stop the other day showing off his AI workflow and I felt like I was watching someone code a magic trick. He had Midjourney v6 and some ControlNet setup where he could draw a stick figure and have it turn into a photorealistic dragon in thirty seconds. I told him he was making the rest of us look bad.

Spent 45 minutes chasing a hot nail that kept bending on me

An uneven ground will mess you up every single time. Shoed a horse in a muddy lot once and spent a whole hour fighting a clip that kept rolling because my foot kept sinking. A piece of 2x4 or a flat paver stone under your anvil base can fix it quick. Also check your hammer face too, a little burr can grab a nail and twist it. Glad you caught the angle before you lost your mind completely.
