PSA: A cheap wireless sensor kit cost me a full day's pay on a callback
I tried to save $40 on a generic brand for a garage door sensor, and the thing failed within a week. The client called me back angry, and I had to eat the cost of a new part plus two hours of my time to fix it. What's the most reliable budget brand you guys actually trust for sensors?

Classic case of the cheap part being the most expensive one. My rule is to just buy the name brand and skip the extra trip.

But what if the name brand part is just the same thing with a fancy box? I've saved a ton just buying the generic and checking it works before I leave the store.
