Can we talk about how long it took me to find the actual discussion thread for episode 12?
I mean, I get it, the subreddit gets flooded with fan art and theory posts, but I spent a solid 45 minutes last Sunday scrolling through the main anime page looking for the episode discussion thread for that new mecha show. It wasn't pinned, it wasn't in the sidebar, and the search function just kept giving me posts from three months ago about the manga. I finally had to sort by new and scroll past like 80 posts to find it buried under some cosplay photo and a 'hot take' about the opening theme. The thread only had like 12 comments anyway, which was its own problem. Has anyone else had to dig through a whole community just to find where people are actually talking about the show? Is there some secret sorting method I'm missing?
The whole pinned thread thing is such a mess lately. Some mods only keep the thread up for like 12 hours before replacing it with a prequel discussion or a fan poll, so if you're late to the party it just vanishes. Buried under cosplay is exactly right, and it makes no sense because those posts get hundreds of upvotes while the actual episode talk gets maybe 30. The search trick that kinda works for me is typing the episode number plus the studio name, then filtering by newest, but even that misses sometimes. Honestly, the fact that you found the thread after 45 minutes at all means you're doing better than most people, I gave up on episode threads entirely and just wait for the weekly recap video on YouTube instead.
