The dub vs sub talk my cousin gave me at a family cookout
Last Sunday my cousin, who never watches anime, said watching dubbed shows is like reading a book with someone else turning the pages, and it stuck with me hard. I've been sub-only since Naruto on Toonami back in 2005, but now I'm second-guessing if I've been missing great performances in dubs like Cowboy Bebop or FMAB. Does anyone else find that a single comment from a non-fan can shake up how you watch your favorites?
