Why does nobody talk about watching anime with the subtitle timing off by half a second
Watched all 12 episodes of a show on a bad rip where the subs lagged just enough that I'd read the line before the character even opened their mouth, and when I finally switched to a proper release in week three the jokes actually landed because the timing synced up with the punchlines.
