Was that a gamble or did you know it would fit? Universal parts can be a real headache if the specs are off even a little. Hope it worked out for you.

Honestly used to avoid universal parts like the plague. Thought they were all junk. Then got stuck on an old project car. A universal throttle cable saved the whole thing. Fit was perfect. Changed my whole view on them now.

Reminds me of my buddy trying to fix his dryer. He ordered a universal belt, the kind that comes in a big loop you have to cut to size. Measured it three times, cut it once, and it was still a half inch too short. Had to order a whole new one. He was so mad, but the second one worked fine for years. Sometimes you just get lucky with the fit.
