I used to think those little magnet clips for holding wires were just a gimmick
My coworker in Tampa swore by them for keeping dryer vent hoses tidy, and I finally tried a pack on a tricky dishwasher install last week. They saved me a solid 15 minutes of wrestling with zip ties and didn't snag on anything. What's a tool or trick you were wrong about?

Those magnet clips are a game changer for appliance hookups. I fought a fridge water line for an hour before using them. Just stick one on the back panel, route the plastic tube through, and it stays put without kinking. Total time saver on jobs where you're working in tight spaces.

My uncle's old garage had a whole wall covered in magnetic tool holders. It was a mess but you could find anything in seconds. @the_margaret, did you ever try those for organizing small parts?
