Dropped $310 on a fancy battery pole saw and used my old handsaw more anyway
Honestly I feel dumb about this one. Five years back I bought a name brand battery pole saw for $310 thinking it would speed up my pruning work. The battery died after 40 minutes in the cold, the bar pinched on anything over 3 inches, and the thing weighed a ton up high. My grandpa's old 26 inch Disston handsaw still cut cleaner limbs and never needed a charge. Now the pole saw sits in my garage and I grab the handsaw out of habit. Anyone else got a tool they regret buying for tree work?
