Hit 500 trees pruned this season and it hit me different

I was tallying up my jobs last week and realized I've pruned exactly 500 trees since spring started. That's 500 crowns lifted, deadwood cleared, or shape-ups done just in the residential part of my route. It made me stop and think about how many of those trees I'll never see again versus the regulars I visit every year. Has anyone else kept a count like this and felt surprised by the number?

Wow, my buddy counted 200 houses painted once and said the same thing!

That's the thing with paint finishes, they can look totally different once the light hits them at different times of day. Maybe try checking the sheen level first before buying next time, makes a world of difference.

Wait, I think you might be mixing up two different threads. Barbara and Jenny are talking about painting, not tree pruning. The original post here is about hitting 500 trees pruned this season. But hey, that's still a cool number - makes you wonder how many of those trees you'll remember a year from now.
