Honestly, the difference in how we see a site after using a drone for a week is crazy

Ngl, I used to think drones were just for fancy TV shows. But my buddy on a dig in Arizona let me use his DJI Mini 3 Pro for a week to map a potential site. Before, we were just walking the grid, marking stuff by hand, and honestly missing a lot. After flying the drone and stitching the photos together, we saw the full picture. We spotted three possible pit house outlines we'd walked right over. It's like the difference between looking at a single brick and seeing the whole wall. The change happened in just seven days, and it was all because of that aerial view. Has anyone else had a dig totally change after getting a bird's eye look?

Yeah, that shift in perspective is wild. I once helped a friend spot a leak on a huge warehouse roof in ten minutes with a drone that would've taken half a day of risky climbing. It just flips a switch in your brain, seeing the whole layout at once.

Ever try that with a lost dog, @the_jana?
