Finally caught the Orion Nebula on my 4th try from my driveway in Phoenix
Last Saturday I stayed up until 2am in my driveway in Phoenix and got my first decent shot of the Orion Nebula after 3 failed attempts where I bumped the tripod or forgot to refocus. Used my old Canon with a 75-300mm lens, 30 second exposures stacked in free software, and the pink and purple finally showed up. Anyone else shoot from a city with bad light pollution, and what settings actually worked for you?
