Had to choose between a tracker and a better lens for my Milky Way shots

I was saving up for astrophotography gear and got stuck deciding between a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer tracker and a Sigma 14mm f/1.8 lens for my Canon. I went with the tracker because I figured it'd help more with longer exposures. First night out at a Bortle 3 spot near Big Bend, I got a 120 second shot that blew me away... way more detail than I ever got with just a tripod. But now I'm thinking the lens would've helped with my foreground shots. Anyone tried both and have a strong opinion on which to grab next?

Tracker was the right call for the Milky Way core shots, no doubt. For foregrounds, a faster wide lens is nice but you can always stitch or stack shorter exposures later and it'll come out fine. Grab the lens when you can, but you're not missing much right now.
