I finally showed my neighbor my Jupiter shot from last night

He's an older guy, never really into space stuff, but he looked at the photo on my laptop screen for a solid minute and just said, 'That's really up there, huh?' It was a simple comment, but it stuck with me because it cut right to the wonder of it all. Do you ever have a moment like that where showing someone a picture makes it feel new again?

Yeah, that's the best feeling.

Honestly, it's the opposite for me. Showing people my photos usually makes me notice all the tiny flaws. It kind of ruins the magic.

Wait but are those flaws even real? You stare at your own stuff so long you start seeing problems nobody else would notice. Most people just see the whole picture and like it. Obsessing over tiny details kills the fun of making anything.
