inPro tip: check the subfloor for staples before you start stretching
Honestly, my method is just to walk around barefoot until I find them the hard way. I swear I could stare right at a stray pin and not see it, but my feet have a perfect detection system. It's not a smart strategy, just a painful one. I really should get a magnet.

inAfter a bricked motherboard, I stand by skipping unnecessary BIOS updates
Wait, he had to RMA a brand new board over a BIOS update? That's brutal. Three weeks without your main PC is a serious punishment. I get being careful, but a straight brick from the official update file is rough. Makes you wonder what actually went wrong on their end. I'd probably join that team too after an experience like that.

inI used to bang on the wall when my neighbor's bass was too loud at 2am.
Have you tried leaving a polite note on their door? In my experience, a short note that just says you work early or have a baby can sometimes work when a face to face talk might start a fight. It makes you a person, not just a noise complaint. If that fails, calling the non emergency line is the right move, some people just won't listen.

inSaw a stat about barber school enrollment that made me look twice
Honestly I wonder if some of it is guys who lost office jobs during covid looking for a more hands-on trade. Could be a total career change wave hitting barbering.

inI finally showed my neighbor my Jupiter shot from last night
Yeah, that's the best feeling.
