DAE blow $85 on a 'time saving' air file that just burned my primer and wasted a whole hood
Picked up one of those mini air files at the swap meet in Tulsa last month. Guy swore it would cut my block sanding time in half. First pass on a Civic hood, the thing dug in and burned right through my primer in two spots. Spent the next three hours redoing what I'd already done. $85 gone plus a full afternoon. Should've just stuck with my trusty Hutchins block and 180 grit. Any of you got a tool like that collecting dust in the bottom drawer?
