I finally saw why guys swear by those foam sanding blocks for filler work

Watched a buddy knock out a 2 foot dent repair in 15 minutes with a worn down block from his old box, and now I'm tossing my squeeze bottle method for good - anyone else switch and notice a big difference?

Thing is, those blocks work best when they're a little worn down to start with... brand new ones are too aggressive and can leave tracks in the filler.
