Thought paintless dent repair was a scam until a hail job in Cheyenne changed my mind
A guy brought in a 2018 F-150 last month with about 40 hail dings on the hood and roof, and he wanted me to quote a full repaint at $3,800. My boss pushed him toward a PDR guy he knows instead, and I figured there was no way those dents would come out clean. Two days later the truck came back and I could not find a single spot, even with my light raking across the hood at an angle. Now I am wondering how many of my past filler and sand jobs could have been saved with PDR. Any of you doing PDR work yourself, or do you just farm it out to a dedicated guy every time?
