Noticed a ton of trail reroutes popping up in my area after heavy rains. Some hikers say it's for safety, others think it ruins the original challenge. Where do you stand?

Ah man, safety first every time. A washed-out trail isn't a challenge, it's a hazard.

Ever notice how often people treat clear warning signs like personal challenges? Like rushing through a yellow light that's been red for two seconds, or using a phone with a cracked screen because "it still works." That trail thing feels like the same mindset, just with dirt and rocks instead of asphalt or glass.

Actually, I see a key difference. Running a stale yellow is a deliberate choice, but some folks just don't read trail signs at all. It's more dumb carelessness than feeling challenged.
