inFrom my desk, drafting is all about shared screens now
Your point on training gaps is spot on. A friend at a design shop saw exactly what @spencer_hayes described. Their new hire used a different line weight standard in the shared file, so all the prints came out wrong. The team had to spend a weekend fixing it because no one showed him the house rules. Now they make everyone do a mock project with the tools before touching real work. It saved them from so many headaches.

inCity park elm got pruned with stub cuts everywhere
Tbh, seeing those stub cuts on the elm tree makes me mad. Same thing happened to the maples on my street last spring, they left like three-inch stubs on every branch. It looked so hacked up and ugly for months. Honestly, I read that leaving stubs like that can let disease get into the tree easier. I tried asking the workers about it and they just said it was faster to cut that way. Now all the trees have these weird knobs where branches should be.

inNoticed a ton of trail reroutes popping up in my area after heavy rains. Some hikers say it's for safety, others think it ruins the original challenge. Where do you stand?
Actually, I see a key difference. Running a stale yellow is a deliberate choice, but some folks just don't read trail signs at all. It's more dumb carelessness than feeling challenged.
