The thrift store gift card from a store that closed 3 years ago
My aunt gave me a $25 gift card to a local book store for Christmas last year. I went to use it in January and the store was GONE, turned into a vape shop. She said she bought it at a discount from some website and didn't check if it still worked. Has anyone else gotten a gift that was basically useless from the start?

yeah that's rough, basically just a fancy bookmark at that point.

Man I had one of those apps too, thought it would be some kind of game changer for saving articles. Turns out it just pulled the title and a tiny snippet most of the time, not even the full text half the stuff I saved. Felt like a waste of storage honestly, just a glorified browser bookmark that took up space on my phone.
