Paid $35 to see the new RoboCop remake and walked out after 20 minutes
I actually bought tickets for that RoboCop remake from 2014 because I thought maybe they could improve on the original. Cost me $35 for two tickets at the AMC on 14th street. They turned a gritty sci-fi story into some clean PG-13 action flick with no bite. Has anyone else sat through a remake that made you mad you spent money on it?

Oh man, that sucks. I had a buddy who went to see the Total Recall remake a few years back, the one with Colin Farrell. He told me he walked out like 15 minutes in because it was so flat and lifeless compared to the original. He said it cost him like 40 bucks for him and his girlfriend including popcorn and soda. They just sat in the car for a while afterwards complaining about how they could have watched the original at home for free. I guess some things just don't need a second version, you know? It's like they take all the weird, fun parts out to make it safe for everyone and then it's just boring.

Ugh for real, I dragged my friend to Ghostbusters 2016 and we both sat there regretting every second of it.
