My neighbor's leaf blower at 7am is way worse than their 2am party ever was

Everyone on this sub always complains about loud late night parties. I get it. But my next door neighbor in Portland starts up his gas leaf blower at 7am every Saturday without fail. The parties end by midnight. The blower goes for 45 minutes straight and echoes off every house on the block. I would take a dozen drunk people singing over that high pitched whine any day. Anyone else think morning noise is actually the bigger problem?

Saw a study once that said morning noise actually spikes cortisol more than late night noise because it interrupts your sleep cycle right when you're in your deepest sleep phase. Makes sense honestly. Those gas leaf blowers are brutal too, they hit like 90 decibels easy which is literally hearing damage territory after 8 hours. Portland vibes I guess, everyone pretends to be eco friendly but still runs those two stroke engines like crazy.

Wait, 90 decibels? That can't be right. I've stood next to those things and my ears don't ring for that long after. But hearing damage territory is insane. No wonder people go nuts over leaf blowers. I'd probably lose it if someone woke me up at 7am on a Saturday with a 90 decibel machine. Honestly shocking that's even legal in a neighborhood.
