My big decision on greasing vs parchment for brownies

I spent like 20 minutes debating whether to grease my pan or cut parchment for a batch of brownies last Sunday. I went with parchment because I was sick of scrubbing stuck bits off my metal pan. It pulled out perfectly clean, but the edges came out kinda wrinkly from the paper folds. Has anyone else had that weird crinkled edge issue with parchment?

Crinkled edges are the price we pay for laziness. You wanted easy cleanup and got a geometry lesson instead. I tried folding parchment once. Looked like origami disaster. Brownies came out looking like a map of some terrible neighborhood. Just grease the pan with butter and a dusting of cocoa powder. That's the sweet spot.

Did you try cutting the brownies with a pizza cutter or just cry over them?
