Question about barber techniques from my Mexico City visit

I just got back from Mexico City and checked out a local barbershop. They showed me a unique way to blend fades that I've started using, and my clients love it. Has anyone picked up cool tricks from barbers in other places?

Totally get that. The key is to keep the shear almost vertical and just take tiny sections, like less than a quarter inch. Makes the blend disappear into the fade.

Barbers in Seoul use vertical thinning shear cuts for thick hair. This method removes bulk without creating choppy layers. It looks cleaner than traditional thinning from what I've seen.

Yeah the vertical thinning thing. Saw a guy with that cut last week and it looked so perfect it was almost fake. Like his hair was too uniform to be real.
