Appreciation post: That one show I found on a whim last Tuesday
I was scrolling through my streaming app three nights ago and clicked on a random show called "The Lost Cabin" because the thumbnail looked cool. Ended up staying awake until 2 AM watching the first seven episodes because the twists kept hitting back to back. Has anyone else stumbled onto a show that totally wrecked their sleep schedule on a random weeknight?

What nobody's talking about is how these shows are literally designed to trap you with that first episode cliffhanger. The pacing is engineered to keep you glued past midnight, and it's working on all of us. Seven episodes in one night is rookie numbers compared to some folks I know who finished whole seasons in a sitting. Streaming services know exactly what they're doing with those auto-play features and end credits disappearing after five seconds. Makes you wonder how many people have called in "sick" the next morning after falling down one of these rabbit holes.
