The skip-intro button ruined how I watch TV shows now

I used to think the skip intro button was the best thing streaming ever did. But after binging Breaking Bad for the third time last year, I realized I was missing something. The cold opens and theme songs set the mood for each episode. I started forcing myself to watch the full intro on every episode of Better Call Saul. By season 2, I caught little details in the opening that connected to later plot points. Now I refuse to skip any intro even on shows I've seen before. It adds like 90 seconds per episode but the payoff is real. Has anyone else noticed that skipping intros makes you care less about the show overall?

You're really overthinking a 90 second intro. I get that some shows put effort into their opening sequences but skipping them doesn't mean I'm suddenly disconnected from the plot or characters. At the end of the day a good show still works just fine without the theme song.

Nah @anna_fox7, skipping the intro kills the whole vibe and mood of the show.
