Last Tuesday I had the WORST game night in 5 years
Five of us sat down for Dune Imperium and after 3 rounds, two people bailed because they said it was 'too much math' and then one guy knocked over a soda on the board. Has anyone else had a session just totally fall apart like that?

The "soda on the board" part really got me, that's almost impressive levels of bad luck. After a similar meltdown I started doing a quick rules check with everyone before we even pick sides, just to make sure we're all on the same page. It helped catch the "too much math" people before they got in over their heads.
