That $150 Kickstarter game that showed up broken and I can't get a replacement

I backed this dungeon crawler called "Shadow Depths" back in 2023 because the miniatures looked amazing in the previews. Paid $150 during the campaign, waited over a year for it to show up. When it finally arrived, half the miniatures were warped or snapped at the base, and three cards had a weird print smudge that made them unreadable. I emailed the company four times and got one reply saying they'd send replacements in their "next production run." That was six months ago and I haven't heard a peep since. The game is technically playable but I spent all that money on a product that feels defective. Has anyone else dealt with a Kickstarter game company just ghosting you after a bad batch?

Honestly that's not really ghosting if they actually replied once, lots of Kickstarters just disappear completely.

Did you ever try reaching out to them on social media or tagging them in a public post? Sometimes companies respond faster when they know other people can see the complaint.

Oh man, that sucks so bad. I used to think the whole "buyer beware" thing on Kickstarter was overblown, but after watching a buddy deal with something similar on a miniatures game I totally get it. Your mileage may vary, of course, but just one reply and then silence after that feels like a slap in the face when you dropped $150. Ive had mixed luck with smaller companies where the owner actually responds to every email, but once they blow you off like that its hard to trust anything they promise. Hope you can at least salvage some fun out of what you got, but I feel your frustration for sure.
