Shoutout to the guy who showed me his boiler tube sheet after switching to orbital welding

Saw his before-and-after photos from a 3-year span and the difference in weld consistency was so huge I spent last weekend redoing all my handwritten purge charts to match his method, anyone else had luck swapping out their old technique for orbital?

3-year span" kinda says it all right there. Took me two jobs to ditch my old setup, no looking back.

Jumped ship after my first job went under and it felt like night and day honestly. Same here, once you make that break you wonder why you waited so long.
