Showerthought: I used to watch 6 episodes a night on my phone and now I watch 2 on the TV in my 400 sq ft place
The change happened when my eyes started hurting from holding a tiny screen 8 inches from my face on the train. Now I only watch one show at a time on the actual TV, currently 2 episodes of Columbo a night, and I actually remember what happened the next day. Has anyone else had to cut back on binge watching because their phone was wrecking them?
Honestly this sounds less like a real health problem and more like you just got older and your habits changed. People watched TV 8 hours a day for decades and nobody called it a crisis. Your eyes hurting from a tiny screen 8 inches away on a moving train is just basic stuff, of course that's gonna bug you. Sitting on your couch watching Columbo on a normal TV is way easier on your body, so yeah you switched, that's just being comfortable. Calling it "cutting back" makes it sound like some big life change when really you just moved from a phone to a TV. Not everything needs to be a wellness journey.
