I don't get the hype around Yeti coolers for everyday use

I bought a Yeti Roadie 24 last summer for beach trips and it took me like 45 minutes just to get the drain plug to seal right without leaking. All that money and I'm fighting with a piece of plastic. Am I the only one who thinks a Coleman works fine for half the price?

Did you try returning the Roadie for a replacement yet?

People ragging on brands like Yeti always seem to miss the point. I had a Coleman cooler that worked fine until the third trip when the hinge broke off and the latch stopped closing tight. Meanwhile my Yeti has been through hell and the ice still holds for three days easy. Have you actually put a leak test on one of those cheaper coolers after a few seasons of use? Not saying Yeti is perfect but there's usually a reason people stick with them.
