Showerthought: I finally got why people stick with Apple after my phone died at a concert in Nashville.
A stranger let me use their old iPhone charger, and now I see how that whole ecosystem thing keeps you locked in.

Yeah that "lock-in" thing is a bit overblown. It's just convenient when stuff works together, not some evil plan lol. I've got an android and my wife has apple, we swap chargers all the time.

Saw a piece about how that lock-in is basically their whole business model. It's smart but kind of annoying.
