Used to swear by Chevy trucks, then my brother's Silverado left me stranded in Casper
I drove nothing but Chevy for 14 years. My 2008 Silverado never let me down once, so I figured that was just how trucks worked. Then 3 months ago my brother's 2019 Silverado blew a transmission at 61k miles right outside Casper, and the dealer quoted him $7,200. I borrowed a friend's F-150 for a week after that, and honestly it felt tighter on the highway. Now I'm wondering if my loyalty was ever about the truck or just about habit. Anybody else switch brands after one bad repair bill?
