Why does nobody talk about how cheap store brand kitchen appliances can actually be good
After 10 years of buying only KitchenAid, I grabbed a $80 Hamilton Beach stand mixer on clearance at Fred Meyer last Tuesday and it whipped cream faster than my $300 model - has anyone else had a budget brand surprise them like that?

You ever just get tired of things breaking for no good reason? I hear you @claire_wells87. I bought this cheap hand mixer at a garage sale for 5 bucks like 15 years ago. Still works perfect, no fancy buttons or anything. Meanwhile my neighbor just tossed a 150 dollar blender after a year. Something about simple stuff just holds up better. Less to go wrong, you know. I stick with basic now and save the headache.
