My cheap pressure cooker lid blew off and dented my ceiling

This was last Tuesday night around 7pm. I was making a batch of black beans with a $15 pressure cooker I bought off Facebook marketplace. The gasket was probably 8 years old and I knew it was iffy but figured whatever. Beans were fine, dent in the kitchen ceiling is about 4 inches wide. Has anyone else had a cheap kitchen tool just go nuclear on them?
