Just realized I hit 50 nights in hostels without paying for a single bed

I always thought work-for-stay programs were a myth, but after helping out at a hostel in Lisbon for a week (mostly cleaning kitchens and doing check-ins), I got a free bed and breakfast. It made me add up all my stays, and I've actually done it in five different cities now. Has anyone else found a hostel work trade that was totally worth the effort?

I used to think you had to be a total expert to get those deals. Helping with luggage storage in Prague for three days totally changed my mind, it was so easy.
