Update: I finally figured out how to get cheap city transport

I used to just buy single metro tickets in Barcelona, which added up fast. Now I grab a T-casual card for 10 rides at about 7 euros, saving a bunch. Anyone know a better card for longer stays?

Nah, getting lost is half the fun for me. I love digging through old boxes and finding weird cards I forgot I had. It's like a little treasure hunt every time. Makes the whole thing more interesting than just grabbing the exact thing you need right away.
