Had a full on spreadsheet meltdown last week and it actually fixed my budget

I was sitting at my kitchen table in Columbus balancing my October budget and the numbers just would not add up. I had $47 missing somewhere and I was about to throw my laptop through the window lol. Finally realized I double counted my electric bill payment and the whole thing clicked. Now I actually look forward to my monthly checkup because I caught the mistake before it got worse. Anyone else ever get that rush when you find a random $47?

Oh man I did that with my gas bill once and legit felt like I won a tiny lottery when I found the mistake lmao. I was so proud of myself I told my cat about it.

It's like the universe is testing you with a little hidden fee just to see if you're paying attention. I spent a whole hour convincing myself I wasn't going crazy before I finally spotted the double count, and then I felt like a budgeting ninja or something. Now I kinda want to leave a small error in there on purpose just to get that thrill again, but I know that's a trap lol. Honestly though, that tiny victory is way more satisfying than finding a random $20 in an old coat pocket.
