Rant: Adding up my coffee shop stops made me swap to a thermos.
Brewing at home saved me over a hundred bucks last month... no joke.

That moment of adding it all up really does change your whole view, doesn't it? I had the same exact shock a couple years back when I finally did the math. It stops feeling like a small treat and starts looking like a real bill you didn't know you had. Making the switch to a thermos felt silly at first, but now the routine is just as comforting. The best part is that the money just stays in my account now.

Yeah, that "over a hundred bucks" line hit me. I was totally the person who said my daily latte was a needed treat, a little luxury. Then I actually looked at my bank statement and added up all those six-dollar oat milk mochas. Seeing that total for one month was a massive wake-up call. Now my big thermos is my best friend, and I don't miss the shop stops at all.

Man, how long did it take you to get over feeling a little dorky with the thermos, Laura805? I did the same exact math and almost choked, lol. That "little treat" mindset is so sneaky, it's crazy how fast it adds up to real money. I switched to making my own cold brew at home and the savings are actually wild.
