Showerthought: Meal prep Sundays cut my grocery bill in half

I used to hate meal planning, but forcing myself to do it every Sunday changed everything (yes, even for someone lazy like me). By writing down exactly what I'll eat, I avoid those expensive last-minute takeout orders. My grocery spending dropped from $200 to $100 a month. If you're not doing this, you're literally throwing money away.

Cutting your grocery bill in half also slashes your food waste, which helps the environment.

And buying in bulk for prep slashes costs even further.

My grocery bill only dropped maybe 20 bucks when I tried it. Felt like a lot of work for not that much payoff.
