inMy friend in Tucson thinks we should stop digging up Native American sites
Remember that most modern archaeology works directly with descendant communities now. The field has moved past just digging for curiosity's sake.

inMy cousin's kid called my favorite band 'dad rock' at a family BBQ
Honestly, the funniest part is that pop punk from our teen years is now classic rock to them. Time is a flat circle.

inI was cleaning a flue in a 1920s bungalow and heard the homeowner tell their kid, 'The chimney sweep is here to check for Santa's landing pad.'

inSerious question, did you know a study found 34% of first dates involve someone Googling the other person BEFORE meeting?
Serious question" feels like a stretch here. That's just normal now, not some deep psychology thing. People looked each other up in phone books before the internet. It's the same basic idea, just faster. Calling it a "study" makes it sound way more important than it is. It's just what happens when you have easy access to info. My date knowing about my bad pottery pics is awkward, sure, but it's not a crisis. It's just modern life.
