My bullet journal mood tracker is stressing me out more than helping

I started adding a daily mood tracker to my bujo last month. I thought it would help me see patterns in my emotions. But now I feel pressured to have a 'good' day to log. It's making me anxious instead of reflective. I'm thinking of dropping it altogether.

Ever try just writing a quick word instead of colors or ratings? I dropped the fancy trackers and just jot down whatever I'm feeling, takes the pressure right off.

My therapist actually suggested a simple three word system last spring. It's not about fancy trackers, but having a tiny bit of structure can really help me spot patterns. If I just write 'tired' every day, I might not see that it's always on Mondays after late nights. A basic system lets me look back and connect the dots without feeling locked in. So while dropping all tracking works for some, I found a middle ground keeps me honest but not stressed. It's all about what takes the pressure off for you personally!

But is all that tracking even worth the effort?
